Terms of Use & Licensing

The short version

Free accounts may use the soundboards, music, ambience and sound effects at your own tabletop — private, home and personal Dungeons & Dragons (or other TTRPG) games. That's it, and it's free forever.

Commercial or public use requires a paid subscription. That includes streaming or recording to an audience (Twitch, YouTube, podcasts), monetized or paid games, actual-play productions, events, and any use in a product or service you sell.

Free (personal) licence

• Play any scene's music, ambience and SFX during your own private, non-monetized home games.
• No downloading, redistribution, resale, or bundling of the audio files.
• No use in anything broadcast, published, or sold.

Commercial licence (subscribers)

• Use the soundboards while streaming, recording and publishing your games to an audience.
• Use in monetized, paid, or public games and events.
• Build and save your own custom scenes.

Upgrade any time from the Create page or the subscribe prompt on any scene.

The audio remains the property of DnD Soundboard and its licensors; your licence to use it (free or commercial) is non-exclusive and revocable if these terms are breached. We may update these terms; continued use means acceptance.
